Job Responsibilities
Prepare competitive techno-commercial proposals for centrifugal pumps serving Oil and gas, pipeline, water and general industry markets
Make a complete study of customer specification and understand their requirement
Selection of competitive pump considering the suitability, performance and cost of the pump.
Ensure that the complete proposal is made in compliance with the customer specifications and taking comments and deviations, if any.
Timely preparation of high quality proposals within limitations dictated by the customer or manager using designated workload management
Demonstrate a firm understanding of pump applications and types, pump affinity laws and how these relate to pumps and systems
Negotiating the buyout quotes to ensure a strategically competitive bid can be submitted
Interaction with customer along with Sales personnel for technical and commercial clarifications on the proposed offer which includes kick off meeting with customer during the technical query stage and also after receipt of the order
Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including updating and maintaining designated workload management tool, while ensuring hit-rate is optimized
