Job Purpose
As International Trade Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring proper international transport of all goods, equipment and parts, in accordance with local and international regulations.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate with packing department, plant and project managers to assure that materials to be shipped are properly packed accomplishing requirements of each project and or sales/order,
• Arrange transportation directly or through client forwarder to send merchandise, schedule local shipments with drivers to give service to external clients and internal clients from different departments.
• Coordinate with custom broker agent and make sure all required export paperwork is correctly done and available.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in import-exprt activities, including fees, trade agreements, and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate import and export shipments, including negotiating freight rates, arranging transportation, and managing logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and manage documentation for customs clearance, including import/export licenses, certificates of origin, and shipping invoices, in compliance with international trade regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, sales, and logistics teams, to coordinate import-export activities and support business objectives.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve shipment issues, track shipments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze import-export metrics, such as shipping costs, transit times, and customs clearance delays, to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on import-export procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Requirements:
• Degree in International Trade or similar. Advanced students may be considered.
• Advanced command of English
• +2 years’ experience in similar roles.
• Availability to attend our plant in Pablo Nogues daily, from Monday to Friday.
