Job Purpose
Identify, recommend and implement improvements to the manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity within a production facility, this involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing production data, and implementing solutions to enhance manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Conduct process analysis and optimization studies to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Design and implement process improvements, including equipment upgrades, automation, and workflow optimizations, to enhance productivity and reduce cycle times.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to develop new products and transition them into manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize downtime and defects.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process control plans, to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process improvements and capital expenditures, providing recommendations to management for decision-making.
Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and technologies, ensuring successful integration and validation.
Provide technical support and training to production personnel, assisting with troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
