Job Purpose

Store and supply all existing materials for the process of pruduccion in time, for the friction of components of the projects, according to the manufacturing orders placed by the clients Link to study plan:

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate material planning and procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the supply chain.

Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to optimize inventory management and minimize shortages and excess stock.

Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock rotation, and disposition of obsolete or excess inventory, to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce carrying costs.

Monitor and track material receiving, inspection, and storage activities to ensure accurate and efficient handling of incoming materials and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Coordinate material distribution activities, including picking, packing, and shipping, to meet customer delivery requirements and minimize transit times and costs.

Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and other relevant software applications to manage materials-related data, transactions, and documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and logistics, to forecast material needs, resolve issues, and improve processes.

Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and work instructions related to materials management processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to materials management, such as inventory turns, fill rates, and on-time delivery, and implement corrective actions as needed to improve performance.
