Accounts Payable Specialist

Propósito

As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the recording and payment of invoices, as well as maintaining a high level of efficiency in accounting processes related to accounts payable.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment records in accordance with accounting standards.

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to payments or invoices.

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.

• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks for signature.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Provide support for other accounting and financial functions as needed.

Requirements:

• Good command of English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience in Accounts Payable and/or related tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts payable.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with electronic payment processing is a plus.
