As a Procurement Specialist in Ruhrpumpen, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the buyouts the company needs to fulfill the manufacturing process. This involves finding the most competitive price and delivery time for those supplies based on the project due dates and according to specifications.
Main responsibilities:
- Review, compare and analyze vendor quotes.
- Find profitable suppliers/work with existing suppliers in order secure the best price, lead time, terms and conditions according to the project established targets and due dates.
- Vendor selection.
- Purchase order placement on a timely manner following the project needs.
- Close teamwork and collaboration with Engineering department to clarify and release any purchase order hold due incorrect or unclear specification.
- Follow up with suppliers for them to deliver submittals on time.
Job requirements:
- Strategic thinking, analysis, and negotiation skills. Fully organized.
- Experience in the Procurement area.
- Excel skills.
- ERP experience.
- English proficient (mandatory)
