Job Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Engineer serves as the single point of contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales and customer support within the assigned territory. This role drives strategic focus, manages key accounts, and ensures consistent engagement with customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Increase sales directly and through the distributor network, expanding market share and profitably growing Ruhrpumpen product lines and aftermarket services.

  • Territory Optimization: Maximize opportunities across new pump sales (projects, replacements, duplicates) and aftermarket offerings (parts, service, repair, upgrades).

  • Customer Engagement: Communicate solutions, ROI, and technical concepts at a professional level within customer organizations.

  • Strategic Planning: Proactively target the territory, develop and execute business plans, and translate customer objectives into actionable strategies.

  • Technical Competence: Upon training, size and select pumps, and prepare new equipment proposals using RP quotation and CRM tools.

  • Strong ability to articulate ideas and solutions with measurable customer payback.

  • Proven capability to identify and develop key accounts into long-term strategic partnerships.

  • Discipline in executing business plans and aligning them with Ruhrpumpen’s growth objectives.

  • Technical proficiency in pump selection and proposal generation.
