Test Lab Manager

Job Purpose

Oversee the operations of the test laboratory, ensuring the accurate and efficient testing of products, components, and systems, and manage a team of engineers and technicians, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations established in ISO-9001:2015 and NMX-EC-17025-IMNC-2006, in order to meet the service level objectives and audit findings during the development of tests and customer complaints. Job Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of test lab engineers and technicians.

Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Develop and manage detailed test plans, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinate testing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and other departments to align testing efforts with project goals.

Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
