Job Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining process.

Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.

Select the appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.

Perform manual machining operations including turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality control.

Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
Collaborate with engineers and production team members to optimize machining processes.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
